INFTEC 2026 Accommodation and Transportation Guide

A range of accommodation options near the Near East University campus and in Nicosia city centre, together with transportation alternatives to the congress venue, are presented below for our participants. Participants may contact the relevant accommodation providers and transportation service providers directly, taking their budget, location, accommodation and transportation preferences into consideration.

Depending on your travel plans, we recommend arranging your accommodation reservation for 21–25 October 2026. As hotel rates and room availability may change, early booking is strongly recommended.

Location: Near East University Campus, Nicosia
This is the closest accommodation option to the congress venue. As it is located on the university campus, it provides convenient access to the congress halls and university facilities.

Ercan Airport is approximately 23 km from Nicosia. Participants may travel from the airport to Nicosia by KIBHAS airport shuttle, taxi, private transfer or rental car. Those travelling to Nicosia by KIBHAS may need to continue from the shuttle stop to the campus by taxi or, where schedules permit, by university shuttle.

Taxi services are available 24 hours a day at the Ercan Airport terminal. Participants may use a taxi or pre-arranged private transfer between the airport, hotel and campus. Before travelling, it is advisable to confirm the estimated fare, payment method, luggage conditions and meeting point with the driver or transfer company. A minibus or group transfer reservation may be more suitable for larger participant groups.

Car rental services are available at the airport and in Nicosia. In Northern Cyprus, traffic drives on the left-hand side of the road. Participants renting a vehicle are advised to confirm driving licence requirements, age limits, deposits, insurance coverage and fuel conditions with the rental company before booking. Only designated routes and parking areas should be used on campus.

Under its general schedule, Near East University provides free shuttle services between the campus and Nicosia from 06:45 in the morning until 22:15 in the evening. Shuttle connections to Kyrenia, Famagusta and Morphou, as well as services between the dormitory area and university units on campus, are also available. Stops and departure times operating during the congress dates should be confirmed before travelling.

Participants staying at Dorana Hotel or the university residences on campus may reach the congress venue by walking or using the internal campus shuttle. Participants staying at hotels in Nicosia city centre may use a taxi, rental car or university shuttle services where suitable routes and schedules are available. Hotel reception staff may also assist with arranging taxis or transfers.
